Ambidextrious design allows the clip to be placed on either left or right shoulder strap. Determine which strap you prefer to carry your bear spray and rotate clip so insertion side faces inward towards your chest.

Remove and rotate the logo plate to be upright.

Pry clip arms apart and slide the clip over your backpack shoulder strap. Guide the sternum strap of your backpack through the center opening of the clip.

Snap both arms securely in place.

Guide the neck of your bear spray cansiter into the channel of the clip so that it snaps securely around the neck of the bear spray.
